Synopsis
Beauty from Ashes follows Mark Rodriguez, a millennial Marine veteran and gifted ballroom dancer whose life unravels after losing custody of his children following a spiral of alcohol abuse and violence. Ordered to undergo a neurocognitive evaluation, Mark is diagnosed with ADHD—a revelation that reframes his past struggles and patterns.
As he commits to sobriety and trains in the world of country partner dance, Mark confronts challenges tied to ADHD, including time blindness, hyperfocus, people-pleasing, and rejection sensitivity.
